Recommended Hotels Miami
I previously stayed at the Mondrian Hotel www.mondrian-miami.com in the South Beach District. Part of the Morgan Hotel group the Mondrian is a sleek, uber modern hotel, baroque in style and very lavish. Although it’s a great hotel for future reference, I would recommend the following hotels:
The Tides - The King and Grove group, of Ruschmeyer’s and Surf Lodge fame in Montauk, have taken over the Tides and as a result it is sure to be the next new hot spot in Miami. http://www.kingandgrove.com/tides-south-beach
Soho Beach House - Soho Beach House is a private members club, hotel and spa conveniently located right on the beach. Originating from London this members club/hotel has great food, great events and is well situated. www.sohobeachhouse.com/
The W Hotel South Beach is a sleek showcase of iconic design. With six bars, a Bliss spa and Mr Chow The W is a great place to retreat in the sun http://www.wsouthbeach.com
The Standard is a boutique hotel that caters to a young and hip crowd. There is a great communal area with ping pong tables and numerous bars well worth a visit with friends. www.standardhotels.com/Miami
The Raleigh provides a more historic South Beach experience with its old world charm harking back to the days of Frank Sinatra and Natalie Wood. World-renown for its art deco style, The Raleigh provides glamorous, stylish and inviting rooms with stunning oceans views www.raleighhotel.com
