A Lazy Sunday in Gavea, Rio de Janeiro
On Sunday we arose to another beautiful day and meandered through Gavea stumbling upon a Sunday market of antiques and hidden treasures followed by a long lunch in Baixo Gaeva at Braseiro with a similar menu of brazilians staples. As the table of 15 behind us got rowdy my milieu rose to the occasion until the majority of the restaurant was either staring or joining in on the festivities. After some respite in the form of sleep, and another day at the beach last night we went to the Friends and Family opening of “Bridget” the latest installment of Brazilian cool brought to you by the creators of Sushi Leblon.
