Experimental Cocktail Bar - 37 Rue Saint-Sauveur, Paris - I’d heard about the Experimental cocktail bar through a friend in New York she said it was a hip institution that provides creative cocktails for the cooler Paris set. Its baroque interior invites you to lounge while you literally experiment with your taste buds. A great place for a drink, a chat or a boogie as the resident DJ’s are wicked. 

Le Carmen Depuis 1875 - 34, Rue Duperre, Paris - Carmen is Parisian chic at its finest.  A bar set in an old mansion Carmen’s gilt edged ceilings and walls complemented by   decadent chandeliers and velvet sofas make it a must visit in Paris. Dj’s spin great tunes and the cocktail list is great. My friend who works at Balmain invited me to join her and her crew and if she thinks its cool, hands down it must be :) www.le-carmen.fr

Pershing Hall - 49, rue Pierre Charron | 8th Arr., Paris - I remember passing the gates of Pershing Hall seven years ago thinking that it would be a wonderful place to stay or dine and indeed I was right on the dining side. Pershing Hall is a popular and trendy boutique hotel and restaurant that offers a unique restaurant experience as the light literally shifts and changes in the room throughout the your meal. It’s very trendy and a great place for a drink as well although it is worthy to note that although the rooms are of slick design, according to patrons of the hotel the noise from the bar precludes guests from having a good nights sleep so I would stick to utilizing this as a place to drink and eat, not sleep. www.pershinghall.com 

Hotel Costes - 239 Rue Saint- Honore, Paris - An oldie but a goodie, Hotel Costes has maintained its chic trendy ambience despite its age. Famous for its bar and outdoor garden the dimly lit lounge is worth a visit at the beginning, middle or end of a big night out in Paris. http://www.hotelcostes.com
