The Social Anthropologist

I am a global nomad with a social conscience traveling the world taking in the sights, sounds and tastes of different societies and cultures. This is what i have discovered along the way.

Travel inspired Products

I am constantly asked when I travel “Where I bought this” or “Where I bought that” whether it be a pashmina, a necklace, a piece of crockery or candelabra. I always try to keep the details of where I picked things up but invariably I lose track of them. So I thought what a great way to showcase eye catching products found on my travels by featuring them here.

Juliana Cassandro Jewelry

Juliana Cassandro is an artist, a bohemian and a beautiful jewelry designer. When I decided to feature products which caught my eye on my travels hers was the first product that I had to feature because I have been adorning my arms with her bracelets for many years. I just love them. I remember my pure joy when I ventured into her studio for the first time and saw the reams of bracelets and was in awe only to be flawed further as she started placing them on my arm. Here Al, she said, I think this one suits you, and this one, and this one. I literally left London with an armful of bracelets that I never take off. Well thats a small lie. My bracelets are admired wherever I go, and whilst my friends in Australia, Amsterdam and New York order bespoke bangles online, often when I am in a jovial mood, and in love with the company of the person I am spending time with I will part with one of my favorite bangles and gift it to the person I am with. With messages such as “Live, Love, Learn”, “Treasured” and “Believe in Angels” these bangles are timeless and special. Ranging in materials from Sterling Silver, Rose Gold, Yellow Gold and Platinum  you can order online or create your own bespoke bangle.
